Choir

Our Church Choir sings at the Sung Eucharist on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month, as well as at other special services such as at Christmas and Easter. The choir can be booked to sing at weddings and funerals for those members available for that occasion.

We currently have 12 choristers in the senior choir. We now run the Senior Choir practice on Thursdays, 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

We are currently recruiting children from ages 8-15 for junior choir to sing with the senior choir. We will run the Junior choir separately to allow more keen focus on their parts, as well as the words of the hymns and basic musical education. This separate Junior practice will be at 6.30pm, finishing at roughly 7pm. There is a small fund of pay available for juniors as incentive, which is calculated factoring in Attendance, as well as duties and performance.

If you are planning a wedding at our church, please contact Luke with your musical choices or to ask his advice. Luke can meet a prospective couple at the church to run through repertoire should this be convenient and can give suggestions of a wide range of wedding repertoire.
