What a weekend!! There was so much to do and see… and you've still got an opportunity to walk the churchyard trail at St Mary's and discover more about the people laid to rest there. Thank you so much to all those who were involved – the committee of 5 who worked so hard for the event to happen, the owners of the 29 gardens which were open and enjoyed by so many, the village groups
who created the interesting displays and beautiful flower arrangements in St Mary's – and the Lavant History Project team whose display was in St Nic's, the children of the Primary School for their very impressive work on show at St Nic's and posies of flowers in jamjars in both churches, the artists and craftsmen exhibiting their work at the Memorial Hall, Luke and friends with their musical interludes, the teams providing very welcome refreshments at various venues but particularly at the Memorial Hall and all the other helpers who supported all of these - on car park duty, manning stalls, selling tickets, taking photographs etc. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came over the weekend – some 300 tickets were sold! MANY, MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL!!
