First World War Remembrance

posted 7 Dec 2014, 10:38 by Richard Ryder
We have started a book for personal anecdotes or memories of loved ones who died in the First World War or who were involved and came home safely. If you wish to remember someone and write about them, the book is available in the Memorial Chapel at St Mary's.

Over the next four or five years, we would also like to remember in our Intercessions anyone who died as a result of the First World War whether they were from the village or a relative of anyone from the village or Church. We shall do this around the 100th anniversary of their death.
