Visit from New Growth Ministries, Zimbabwe

Another date for your diary!  On Thursday 9th May, Hilary Mackenzie from New Growth Ministries (NGM) is coming to give a presentation on their work in the Lavant Room at St Mary's.  The presentation will start at 8.00 pm but we'll be serving tea/coffee and cakes from 7.30 pm.  There will be an opportunity for questions after the presentation but the intention is to finish by 9.00 pm.
NGM was founded by Hilary and her husband Rob in 1992 to feed, clothe, care for and educate orphans.  Hilary and Rob live near Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe, and have built an orphanage there which can house up to 24 orphans.  They also try to help the elderly whose relatives have had to leave their farms, homes and country.
You may remember that we donated money from our Harvest Appeal to this charity a couple of years ago and also gave t-shirts and medicines which Rosie Hoare took when she visited NGM in Zimbabwe.
Do come to Hilary's presentation and learn more about the work of NGM.
