German Prisoners of War
Quakers have the second of their Festivity days on Saturday 14th July. At 5.30pm Joachim Leibschner, a German who settled in England after the war, speaks about Growing Up Under Hitler and his wartime experiences as a German soldier and as a POW. Before that at 3pm Michael Woolley is leading a Guided Walk to places of Quaker interest ending up in the Meeting House with a cup of tea. The walk covers the Quaker story in Chichester from 1652 to the present day. Tickets for both events are available from the Festivities box office or at the door.
