Sunday@Six service
Sunday 14 August
St Nicholas Church
Our Sunday@Six service in August will be a "Songs of Praise" interspersed by prayers. The songs we sing will be entirely dependent on the popular vote of those who attend. A selection of 30-40 Songs from our Hymn Book will comprise the "long list" and each attendee will have the opportunity to cast 3 votes; the 7 most popular songs will be the ones we sing! So do come along on Sunday 14 August to St Nicholas Church. The service starts at 6pm but do join us from 5.30pm in order to vote and for refreshments and fellowship.
Also note that the planned themes for the Sunday@Six Service over the next few months are:
  • 11 Sep Reflections on Gap Year Travels to the far east [including Japan's Tsunami & Australia's floods]
  • 9 Oct Taize [tentative]
  • 13 Nov Remembrance - War & Christianity
